General Information

A traditional Argentinean “estancia” is to provide comfort and warmth to hunters anytime.

Accommodation is five-star and facilities include 10 double rooms with private bathrooms, a grand living room, a cozy dining room and a large acclimatized swimming pool, Jacuzzi and solarium. In addition, masseuse and laundry services are available. There is also, wi-fi internet service and satellite TV.

Along with the luxurius accomodations, typical Argentinean dishes as well as international cuisine and delicious desserts are served with a selection of the finest Argentinean wines.

POINT OF ARRIVAL
Santa Fe Provincial airport or Rafaela local airport are located near the hunting area. Our guests are welcomed by our guides and driven to the lodge.
Upon request, South American Adventure Safaris staff shall meet travelers at Ezeiza International airport. Guests are assisted in transfers to the domestic airport as well as in the procedures for bringing hunting guns into our country.

DOCUMENTATION
Passports and temporary introduction permits concerning guns and ammunitions brought to Argentina are required. For further information, please contact South American Adventure Safaris staff.

GUNS AND AMMUNITIONS
As to plains game, we suggest rifles such as 7 mm RM or 300 WM caliber, fitted with a good scope. For water buffalo we recommend 375 HH caliber or bigger. For birdshooting 12, 20 or 28 ga. semi-automatic models are specially recommended.
South American Adventure Safaris will provide premium quality ammunitions in 12, 20 or 28 ga. Ammunitions in 16 and 410 must be ordered in advance.

GUN RENTAL
Hunters are strongly advised to bring their own guns. However, our company can supply them for U$S 50 per day. Ammunition is charged at local current prices (U$S 12/box).

CLIMATE & CLOTHING
The weather in March, April and May is pleasant, with temperatures ranging from 61º F (16 ºC) to 84º F (29 ºC). Light clothes for the day and warmer outfits for mornings and evenings are advised.
The months of June, July and August can be quite cool; ranging from 45º F (7ºC) to 70º F (21ºC); therefore warm clothes are suitable.
We specially recommend rain gear (raincoats and rubber boots) in all seasons. Our staff will kindly provide you with more detailed information and suggest a list of items of clothing.

MEALS
Continental or American breakfast, 3-courses-lunch and dinner are served. Our staff will delight you with Argentinian typical dishes and varied international cuisine to enjoy with a selection of the finest Argentinian wines.

MEDICAL ISSUES
Malaria prophylaxis and yellow fever or cholera vaccination are not required.
Please, check with your physician for current health recommendations.

BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
SAFARI RESERVATION
A deposit of 50% of the daily rates for the contracted number of hunting days or the package price is required to confirm your booking. Balance is to be paid off at least 45 days before the reservation date.

CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of a cancellation of your trip at least 90 days prior to the date of the contracted safari, your deposit minus a service fee of U$S 200, shall be refunded. In case of a cancellation within 90 days prior to the date of the contracted safari, but earlier than 45 days before departure, your deposit shall be forfeited to our company. As for cancellations within 45 days prior to the date of the contracted safari, the total amount of the hunt shall still be due and must be paid in full.

OTHER EXPENSES
American dollars are required in cash. Travelers' checks and personal checks are accepted with a 2% charge for exchange expenses. We do not accept credit cards.

INSURANCE
Our guests are not covered by any insurance. They are requested to obtain their own insurance.

LIABILITY
South American Adventure Safaris and any supplier agency pursuant to or in connection with the safari acts as an agent only and shall not be responsible or become liable for any action, omission, loss, damage or injury to persons or property by reason of any event beyond the control and default of such agency and/or supplier.
All rates are based on current tariffs and exchange rates in effect at the time of the publication of this information. They are subjected to adjustments without prior notification.
The payment of the required deposit or any partial or full payment means the consent to all provisions and conditions stated here.
